Our main workshop is in Ealing where we run most of our bike maintenance lessons from as well supporting a number of local businesses and schools.
Cargo bike hire
We use cargo bike extensively for our business and uniquely in Ealing we work with Ealing Council to run a scheme open to individuals and businesses to hire a bike. There are so many advantages in cargo bikes and the borough is ideally suited for them – imagine being able to move anything from children to luggage around Ealing – no parking issues, no fuel costs, door-to-door access etc. For more information contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or click here to view availability and more details. If you want to use our cargo bikes and get us to transport your goods then do get in contact.
You can now pick up an Ealing Smile wall bracket for free from our Greenford workshop – we just need proof you live in Ealing.
We ran a pilot project in conjunction with Ealing police and Ealing council over the summer. 90% of bike thefts are bikes secured with cable locks rather than D-locks, and we sold discounted D-locks at Ealing Broadway cycle hub to encourage people to use secure locks. The pilot is now being rolled out and we are now selling locks at £20 discount – we are open as usual on the first Saturday of the month from 10.00 till 3.00 and also Thursday evenings from 7.00 till 9.00 if our evening classes are running. This project will encourage people to use decent locks therefore reducing bike theft, a major reason for people giving up cycling as well as cutting the supply of stolen bikes. The offer means you can buy our silver-secure rated D-locks for £10 rather than £30 and our gold standard locks at £30 rather than £50. We also need your old tatty lock in exchange.
We run most of our training courses in our fully equipped workshop in Greenford. To book click here. The workshop also retails second hand bikes and is our bike hire centre.
